BIENVENIDOS A LA PENINSULA DE YUCATÁN

The “Uncharted Mayan Ruins” tour from Mérida was an exceptional experience. Roger, our guide, created a fully personalized journey tailored to our interests and curiosity. As a professional photographer with a deep passion for authentic, close-up experiences of Maya culture, he brought a unique perspective to the entire day. Along the Puuc Route—a scenic region connecting sites like Uxmal, Kabah, Sayil, and Labná, known for its distinctive architectural style—he guided us off-road through a private property and into the jungle to discover three truly impressive, lesser-known ruins. These sites have even been featured by National Geographic, which speaks to their significance. For deeper insights, we’ll leave it to Roger—he truly brings these places to life. After this experience, we can wholeheartedly recommend him. As a special bonus, and purely out of kindness and attention to our slightlz outened interest, he additionally took us to the nearby ruins of Labná squeezing this short but complete tour into the programm at the end, although this was not part of the original plan. A truly outstanding and memorable experience. 🌿✨

Incredible experience with Roger exploring Mayan ruins off the beaten path. I truly felt like we were the first ones uncovering these ruins. Walking through the dense jungle and seeing various unique animals was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The knowledge and experience Roger has made the tour that much better. Amazing tour. Maya ruins in the middle of the jungle. No one else around - just silence, nature and history (and Roger showing and guiding me). Really enjoyed it! I even got to meditate on top of the ruins of a Maya temple (try that at one of the better known touristic places :-)))

I took the Unexplored Mayan Ruins tour and it was incredible!!! I am in amazement of Roger's knowledge, curiosity, and wonder as it relates to wildlife and ruins. By the end of the trip, Roger felt as if he were a long-time friend - this truly speaks to Roger's ability to make his tours both comfortable and unforgettable. Roger is a living textbook and has an admirable child-like curiosity in understanding and identifying the wildlife around us. In our walk to the ruins, he would pause and prompt me to listen to the calls of the wild, and was excited in identifying each species we saw and heard. Since I am a history professor, touring the ruins made me feel as if I was living in the textbook I teach from. What a unique experience to undergo your own archeological expedition in the Mayan jungle! I cannot thank Roger enough for the incredible experience. He truly as the heart and soul of an adventurer and I am honored to experience Yucatan through his perspective! Highly recommend!!!!
